FLEET X PAUL & JOE
P aris, January 2022: Paul & Joe is teaming up with Flotte to jointly create a collection of waterproof clothing. For 27 years, Paul & Joe has been a symbolic brand playing on classic codes, between prints and finishes but also masculine and feminine. It has an identity focused on heritage: relying on the know-how of workshops in France and working with Italian suppliers for its fabrics. Signature of the house, the art of color, prints and detail are the spearheads of each collection.
Back in February 2021 after their favorite meeting on the M6 show " Who wants to be my partner? ”. Sophie Mechaly , president and artistic director of Paul & Joe , and the co-founders of the eco-responsible rainwear brand Flotte, Lyly and Mickaël , formalize their partnership with the launch of a very first collection called Botania . A true hymn to the rain, without which there would be neither flowers, nor fruit, nor life.
Available for adults and children, the floral pieces pay homage to a featured Paul & Joe silk print from the SS23 season . This has been reworked with the codes of Fleet, committed to producing eco-designed, modular and colorful clothing in order to make people love the rain by bringing joy and good humor . Several classic but also original shapes are available, including a reversible model for adults or even rain pants for children. Accessories lovers are also served with a waterproof bucket hat. This first capsule line reflects the creative, positive and whimsical energy of the two houses. Sophie Mechaly , who skilfully handles the art of color, prints and detail, contributing for more than 22 years to the success of her brand, had been seduced by the authenticity and potential of Flotte . As a reminder, the rainwear of the young company launched in 2020 is made from 100% recycled waste.
