PERSONAL DATA

By browsing and placing an order on the Site, the Customer accepts the collection and processing of certain strictly necessary information:

• For the processing of orders;

• For providing the Customer with information about the Paul & Joe and Paul & Joe Sister brands;

• For providing the Customer with information about the Site;

• For sending commercial offers, if the Customer expressly agrees when validating the order.

Information strictly necessary for Maneki to process the Customer’s order is indicated with an asterisk (*).

All personal data collected by Maneki is processed with the utmost confidentiality and transparency, in compliance with applicable national laws and European regulations.

The Customer’s personal data is stored only for a period strictly proportional to the purpose of its collection.
Data used for order management, customer relationship improvement, and commercial prospecting are kept for three months after the end of the commercial relationship. Customers’ banking data are deleted immediately once the transaction has been completed.

With the Customer’s prior consent, their personal data may be processed by Maneki as well as by contractual partners involved in the management of orders. All data controllers and processors agree to comply with these rules. Personal data is not intended to be shared with any other party.

Maneki undertakes to take all necessary precautions to ensure the security of its files and IT systems, and in particular to prevent the Customer’s personal information from being altered, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

The Customer’s personal information is sent to and stored by the Site’s hosting provider, located in France, whose details appear in the “Legal Notice” section of the website.

In accordance with legal and regulatory provisions, the Customer has the right to access, rectify, portability, erase, and restrict the processing of their personal data.

To exercise these rights, the Customer must contact Maneki’s Customer Service, providing their first name, last name, email, postal address, and customer reference, either by email (eshop@paulandjoe.net) or by post (Paul & Joe Customer Service, 14 rue Commines, 75003 Paris, France).
Each request must be signed and accompanied by a copy of an identity document bearing the Customer’s signature and indicating the return address. A response will be provided within one month of receipt of the request, or within two months if the request is complex or numerous, in which case the Customer will be informed within one month of receipt.

The Customer may also directly update or delete their personal information through their Customer Account, by logging in with their email address and password.

Data retention:
Customer and prospect data are kept for a period of five (5) years from the end of the relationship. The period begins from the last order, the last login to the customer account, the sending of an email to customer service, a click on a hyperlink contained in an email sent by Paul & Joe, the addition of products to the cart without completing the purchase, or a positive response to an email asking whether the customer wishes to continue receiving commercial communications at the end of the five-year period.

At the end of this period, customer or prospect data will be anonymized.
